Looking for a deep-dive into the state aid template or maybe you are new to school finance?  Are you ready to put together the data needed to calculate your funding and learn how to keep tabs on it as the year moves along? The State Aid Template Workshop will focus on completing and maintaining your state aid template and monitoring the estimates produced by the template. During this hands-on training you’ll identify the data necessary to complete the template, locate the sources of those data, examine how it affects your district’s funding each year. This one-day workshop is specifically designed for business officials who are responsible for developing the district budget and for calculating state funding. Bring a working copy of your district’s state aid template, as well as your actual and projected student counts, taxable value information, and tax collections assumptions and spend the day working through the template. By the end, we hope you will have a more solid understanding of the data necessary to calculate your district’s state funding as well as changes and updates that will occur throughout the year.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations are only accepted in writing. Cancellations received seven (7) working days before the event are cancelled in full, those received one (1) to six (6) working days before the event are cancelled at 50 percent, and cancellations are not accepted the day of or after the event. If you do not cancel and/or do not attend, you are still responsible for payment. If TASBO cancels an event, you will be refunded in full.
