Not only are student transcripts permanent records that reflect the credited course work attempted and earned by students, but information contained on these is used in several areas by the Texas Education Agency and inaccurate information can have significant impacts on student's college/university entrance. In addition, it can cause funding to be lost and an inaccurate accountability rating for the district. This session will provide guidance on the best practices for what and how to review information on student's transcripts so that not only does it have the correct information, but that the information is accurately reported to the TEA.
