MAO103: Custodial Staffing & Organization
This course provides an overview of how to properly manage Custodial Services for a school district. A core responsibility of any district is to keep the students and faculty safe and comfortable while they are on school property, and the Custodial Services department is a key contributor to this success. In this course, we review the key factors to consider when managing Custodial Services • from work planning, staffing, scheduling and inventory to the more foundational questions such as whether or not to outsource services. In addition, you’ll learn how investing in people and equipment can have a campus-wide impact, and how state and federal purchasing laws may impact your decision-making. CE 6/CPE 7
