PAY305 TRS Reporting

This course provides an overview of the function and purpose of TRS and laws regulating school district employees and retirees. Students will gain an understanding of the RE Portal system and how to access, enter and submit monthly reports. Before taking this class, students should have a familiarity with TRS state reporting. No prerequisite required to register. A test will be given for those taking the course for TASBO certification credit. This course provides continuing education credit for TASBO certification (6 CEs), CPAs (7 CPEs), school board members, charter school administrators, TESA STEM participants and certified educators.

CANCELLATION POLICY:  Cancellations must be sent IN WRITING by email to register@tasbo.org or fax (512-462-1782).  Cancellations received seven (7) working days before the event will be refunded in full; cancellations received one to six working days before the event will be refunded at 50 percent; and cancellations received the day of the event will not be refunded.

If you do not cancel and do not attend, you are still responsible for payment.
