TASBO is excited to roll out a NEW ESSER Grant Close-out Workshop! Now that ESSER grant funds will end in 2024, it's time to shift our focus to the many issues related to the grant close-out. This workshop addresses the inevitable funding cliff, disposal of assets and residual supplies, records retention, and so much more.
The workshop will address opportunities for an extended liquidation period (for contracted services obligated by September 30, 2024) and prepayment of specific costs. Strategies and options to maximize the remaining ESSER funds and alleviate the strain on the 2024-2025 budget will be discussed.
Attendees will have several hands-on and engagement opportunities to develop a process to close-out ESSER grants in their LEA.
