Day 1 of the workshop will cover critical finance topics in the areas of ESSER and state funding with a special emphasis on compliance with the state special program allotments. As we enter into the third fiscal year with ESSER federal grant funds, we will review the lessons learned and what to consider as we prepare for the ESSER funds to lapse in FY 2023-2024 or sooner depending on your district's ESSER funding plan. Whether you are reviewing your current fiscal year funding or preparing your budget for the next fiscal year, you will walk away with valuable information and resources.

Day 2 will focus on planning, preparation, and compliance monitoring of your FY 2022-2023 budget with a special emphasis on a preview of the 2023 legislative session.
