MGT301 Functions & Duties of School Business Administrators

SELECT ONLY ONE LOCATION: The instructor will present in Edinburg, with a teleconference location in Brownsville. Seating is limited at each location.

This course is a requirement for the RTSBA certification. Attendees will come away with a broad overview of the standards and competencies for school business and support services in Texas, the organization and general goals and strategies for non-instructional areas, the board policies associated with each area, and future trends in school business management.

A test will be given for those taking the course for TASBO certification credit. This course provides continuing education credit for TASBO certification (6 CEs), CPAs (7 CPEs), school board members, charter school administrators, TESA STEM participants and certified educators. No prerequisite required to register.

Cancellation Policy:  Cancellations must be sent IN WRITING by email (register@tasbo.org) or fax (512-462-1782). Cancellations received seven (7) working days before the event are cancelled in full, those received one (1) to six (6) working days before the event are cancelled at 50 percent, and cancellations are not accepted the day of or after the event. If you do not cancel and/or do not attend, you are still responsible for payment. If TASBO cancels an event, you will be refunded in full.
