Session Details

The conference will be held in-person, November 4-5 at the Omni Houston Galleria. A full schedule overview can be found here. Your specific session information will be sent via email.

Create your PowerPoint using the TASBO Template and save your presentation in PDF format, two slides per page, and submit by October 25.
Speaker Responsibilities

  • Speakers will need to bring a flash drive/ USB thumb drive with your PowerPoint presentation loaded on it.
  • Speakers must meet all posted dates and deadlines.
  • All learning programs must be educational in nature, unbiased and avoiding direct or indirect promotion of any product or service.

Tech/AV for Presentation

We encourage the use of additional audio/visual components in your presentation to engage the audience. Tech and A/V help will be available on site. Each breakout room will have:

  • Wide-screen projector
  • Lavalier microphones (please wear clothing that will allow for wearing a clip-on microphone)
  • Slide advance remote
  • Connection to speakers for audio/video
  • Laptop

Speaker Resources

Each presentation is 60 minutes in length. We suggest you prepare a 50 minute presentation, allowing up to 10 minutes for Q&A. Rehearsing prior to the event is critical for success.
