At-Risk Student Identification, Review, and Funding Impact
At-Risk Student Identification, Review, and Funding Impact
The PEIMS AT-RISK-INDICATOR-CODE indicates whether a student is currently identified as at-risk of dropping out of school using state-defined criteria only (TEC §29.081, Compensatory and Accelerated Instruction). Missing or inappropriate identification could impact funding and services being provided to students who need those additional supports. This session will review indicators, how/when to review them, and funding impact.

Objectives:

1. Develop a timeline for student at-risk indicator review.
2. Establish a process and procedure that includes the identification of responsible persons.
