Reporting FFCRA Wages & Soc. Sec. Taxes on 2020 941s (FICA)
(For districts that pay FICA) - Due to new FFCRA Leave, SOME school districts are required to report the FFCRA Wages and Social Security taxes on their 2nd, 3rd and 4th Form 941 Employer's Quarterly Federal Tax Returns. A new Form 941 was issued in April 2020 for the 2nd Quarter and another one was issued July 2020 for the 3rd and 4th Quarters. Has your district filed the correct tax returns with the FFCRA Wages and Taxes? If you're not sure, join this webinar to hear about the new forms and reporting requirements for districts that have at least one employee (full-time, substitute or temporary) that pays FICA taxes. Filing accurate Form 941 Returns for Calendar Year 2020 is critical as we are required to report the FFCRA wages on the Form W2s for 2020.
