PUR303 Competitive Sealed Proposals/Request for Proposals

This course provides an overview of the competitive sealed proposal process. Students will come away with an understanding of the components of an RFP, advertising requirements, how to prepare the scope of work, factors for evaluation, methods of negotiation and sample guidelines and RFP examples. CE Hours 6 / CPE Hours 7

Course will be held in Edinburg. There will not be a remote connection to Brownsville.

No prerequisite required to register. A test will be given for those taking the course for TASBO certification credit. This course provides continuing education credit for TASBO certification (6 CEs), CPAs (7 CPEs), school board members, charter school administrators, TESA STEM participants and certified educators.

CANCELLATION POLICY:  Cancellations must be sent IN WRITING by email to register@tasbo.org or fax (512.462.1782).  Cancellations received seven (7) working days before the event will be refunded in full; cancellations received one to six working days before the event will be refunded at 50 percent; and cancellations received the day of the event will not be refunded.

If you do not cancel and do not attend, you are still responsible for payment.
