The course will take place via live Zoom webinars on two consecutive days; you must attend BOTH webinars and successfully complete the online test during part 2 to receive certification credit for the course.

You will need a computer with an internet connection and speakers to participate in the webinars. The connection instructions and course materials will be emailed a few days prior to the date of the course.
This course provides an in-depth study of the Fair Labor Standards Act, including legal requirements, administration and sample forms. Participants will gain an understanding of FLSA legal requirements, minimum wage provisions, overtime and compensatory time pay, child labor regulations, and recordkeeping requirements. Class activities will provide students an opportunity to learn how to apply the FLSA regulations in their school districts. CE Hours 6 / CPE Hours 7
No prerequisite required to register. A test will be given for those taking the course for TASBO certification credit. This course provides continuing education credit for TASBO certification (6 CEs), CPAs (7 CPEs), school board members, charter school administrators, TESA STEM participants and certified educators.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations must be sent IN WRITING by email to register@tasbo.org or fax (512-462-1782). Cancellations received seven (7) working days before the event will be refunded in full; cancellations received one to six working days before the event will be refunded at 50 percent; and cancellations received the day of the event will not be refunded.
If you do not cancel and do not attend, you are still responsible for payment.
