This course reviews the Student Attendance Accounting Handbook (SAAH) Sections 7-14 in detail. Students will learn best practices concerning special programs as well as how special programs can impact funding. PEI103B covers PreK, Gifted/Talented, Pregnancy Related Services, Alternative Education Programs, Nontraditional Programs and Virtual, Remote, and electronic instruction. Appropriate for a beginner or anyone wanting to know more about accurate procedures, documentation, and special rules for each Special Program. No Prerequisite.
This PEI103B PEIMS Accuracy: Special Populations & Programs, Part 2 course will be in-person only. Course materials, including the final exam, will be accessed online. Attendees should bring a device to the training to access the materials. A test will be given for those taking the course for TASBO certification credit.
