MGT317 Financial Essentials

MGT317, MGT317C or alternative MGT318 is a requirement for RTSBA certification. This course provides attendees with an understanding of school financial numbers so that informed decisions can be made. Essential financial topics including account coding, employee considerations, managing budgets, forecasting and planning, cost accounting, internal controls and financial reporting are addressed. Course will be held in Edinburg. There will not be a Remote connection to Brownsville.

No prerequisite required to register. A test will be given for those taking the course for TASBO certification credit. This course provides continuing education credit for TASBO certification (6 CEs), CPAs (7 CPEs), school board members, charter school administrators, TESA STEM participants and certified educators.

CANCELLATION POLICY:  Cancellations must be sent IN WRITING by email to register@tasbo.org or fax (512-462-1782).  Cancellations received seven (7) working days before the event will be refunded in full; cancellations received one to six working days before the event will be refunded at 50 percent; and cancellations received the day of the event will not be refunded.

If you do not cancel and do not attend, you are still responsible for payment.
