Examine all aspects of conducting an external audit. Gain an understanding of the audit process from beginning to end, including hiring an outside auditor, planning and preparing for the audit, the types of audit opinions that may be issued, the Board’s responsibility during an audit, and information on current and new accounting standards. No Prerequisite.

A test will be given for those taking the course for TASBO certification credit.

This AUD202 External Auditing course will be in-person only. Course materials, including the final exam, will be accessed online. Attendees should bring a device to the training to access the course materials.

Cancellations received seven (7) working days before the event are canceled in full; those received one (1) to six (6) working days before the event are canceled at 50 percent. Cancellations are not accepted the day of or after the event. If you do not cancel and/or do not attend, you are still responsible for payment. If TASBO cancels an event, you will be fully refunded.
