Receive a general overview of the legal requirements for investing public school funds, collateralizing depository funds, developing policies, and supporting resolutions. The course will introduce investment accounting and reporting requirements and the initial knowledge for cash management and investment strategies and provides six hours of training for designated investment officers under the Public Funds Investment Act (PFIA).
A test will be given for those taking the course for TASBO certification credit.
