This course will be offered in-person only.
This course explains proper accounts payable processes and procedures in school district business offices. Attendees will learn the role accounts payable plays in the district's financial position, the relationship between purchasing and accounting, and the need for strong internal controls and segregation of duties.
A test will be given for those taking the course for TASBO certification credit.
This course provides continuing education credit for TASBO certification (6 CEs), CPAs (7 CPEs), school board members, charter school administrators, TESA STEM participants and certified educators.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations must be sent IN WRITING by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or fax (512-462-1782). Cancellations received seven (7) business days before the event will be refunded in full; cancellations received one to six business days before the event will be refunded at 50 percent; and cancellations received the day of the event will not be refunded. If you do not cancel and do not attend, you are still responsible for payment.
