Students will come away with an understanding of essential financial and regulatory requirements of operating school nutrition programs under USDA and TDA regulations. Current best practices, school nutrition key performance indicators, and benchmarking will be identified and described to assist in improving the operational and financial effectiveness of school nutrition programs. No Prerequisite.

A test will be given for those taking the course for TASBO certification credit.

This SNC301 course will be in-person only. Course materials, including the final exam will be accessed online. Attendees should bring a device to the training to access the course materials.
