The information found in this manual is intended to be used to teach the basic understandings of State of Texas procurement laws and provide known resources available to school district staff to locate the true and accurate codes. The text of the statutes listed in this manual are to be used only as a representative sampling, are not to be considered all inclusive, and are only accurate to the extent of the date of print for this manual. School district staff are encouraged not to use this text as their only source, but as an index of Texas procurement codes.

No Prerequisite.

This PUR102 Applications of Purchasing Law course will be in-person only. A test will be given for those taking the course for TASBO certification credit. Course materials, including the final exam will be accessed online. Attendees should bring a device to the training to access the course materials.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations are only accepted in writing. Cancellations received seven (7) working days before the event are canceled in full; those received one (1) to six (6) working days before the event are canceled at 50 percent. Cancellations are not accepted the day of or after the event. If you do not cancel and/or do not attend, you are still responsible for payment. If TASBO cancels an event, you will be fully refunded.
