MGT310 or alternative MGT321 is a requirement for RTSBA certification. Students will gain an understanding of goal setting and needs assessment, major maintenance and facility plans, staff and student enrollment projections and long-range budget and financial models. Students will complete an in-class project using their district's school business operations data, and should have a working knowledge of school finance and Excel. No Prerequisite.

A test will be given for those taking the course for TASBO certification credit.

This Long Rang Planning course will be in-person only. Course materials, including the final exam will be accessed online. Attendees should bring a device to the training to access the course materials.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations are only accepted in writing. Cancellations received seven (7) working days before the event are canceled in full; those received one (1) to six (6) working days before the event are canceled at 50 percent. Cancellations are not accepted the day of or after the event. If you do not cancel and/or do not attend, you are still responsible for payment. If TASBO cancels an event, you will be fully refunded.
