MAO202 Energy Management

This course addresses electricity markets, costs, and regulatory effect on school districts and provides information on setting up a school district Energy Management Program. Attendees will gain an understanding of energy accounting and potential savings, financing energy controls, understanding utility bill technology applications and rate schedules, energy conservation measures and ways to involve the school community in the energy plan. No Prerequisite.

This MAO202 Energy Management course will be in-person only. A test will be given for those taking the course for TASBO certification credit. Course materials, including the final exam will be accessed online. Attendees should bring a device to the training to access the course materials.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations are only accepted in writing. Cancellations received seven (7) working days before the event are canceled in full; those received one (1) to six (6) working days before the event are canceled at 50 percent. Cancellations are not accepted the day of or after the event. If you do not cancel and/or do not attend, you are still responsible for payment. If TASBO cancels an event, you will be fully refunded.
