FMLA Basics for Supervisors

The FMLA was enacted in 1993 to provide job protection and other benefits to eligible employees who are absent from work due to a qualifying condition. This session will address FMLA basics that every supervisor should know. Collaboration with the HR department is essential to ensure compliance with this federal law. Join this session to learn about typical supervisor and HR roles in responding to and/or directing employees with extended medical absences.
