This course explains proper accounts payable processes and procedures in school district business offices. It examines how accounts payable relates to district liability accounts; reviews the relationship between purchasing and accounts payable; provides information on the need for strong internal control procedures to protect access to assets; and provides an internal control checklist for students to use in their districts.
