MGT309 Business Administration and the Law
This course is a requirement for RTSBA and RTSBO certification. Taught by an attorney, attendees will come away with an understanding of education as a function of the state, employee hiring procedures, use of independent contractors, access to personnel records, political/union and professional organization activities, the Texas whistleblower act, reduction in force, special education hearings, liability issues, and other legal issues. No Prerequisite.
This MGT309 Business Administration and the Law course will be delivered online via Zoom. All course materials, including the final exam, will be accessed online. Attendees should plan to have a reliable internet connection and a device (such as a laptop or tablet) available during the course to access materials and participate fully. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations are only accepted in writing. Cancellations received seven (7) working days before the event are canceled in full; those received one (1) to six (6) working days before the event are canceled at 50 percent. Cancellations are not accepted the day of or after the event. If you do not cancel and/or do not attend, you are still responsible for payment. If TASBO cancels an event, you will be fully refunded.
