Assets Management: Tracking Assets

School Districts and Charter Schools are required to track all capital assets and to conduct a physical inventory for annual financial audit (AFR) purposes. Federally-funded assets must be inventoried at least every two years to comply with federal EDGAR regulations. Has your LEA developed written procedures to define and track assets? Has YOUR LEA purchased assets with federal grant funds? This webinar will address topics that are critical in tracking assets such as receiving, tagging, transferring, disposing, inventorying and maintaining an asset database. Best practices in tracking assets will also be discussed.
