FSLA Basics for Supervisors

The Department of Labor conducts specific and random audits to determine compliance with the FLSA. School districts have been audited, either because of a random audit or in response to a single employee's complaint. Is your campus or department fully complying with the FLSA? As a supervisor, you are responsible for the recordkeeping of all the work hours of the non-exempt employees assigned to your campus or department. Attend this webinar to learn about compliance issues such as determining exempt status, recordkeeping, and paying non-exempt staff for extra duty pay (overtime, compensatory time, wait time, and stipends).
