Project Mgt for School Business Professionals: 2-Day WKSP

As a school business professional, you are quite familiar with the challenges of managing multiple projects. This workshop will introduce you to a formal process of managing projects that includes these phases: Initiate, Plan, Execute, Monitor and Control, and Project Close. Come with a project in mind and through activities, discussion, and the use of templates to capture details about your project, you will walk away with the required knowledge, ability, and strategy to apply this process back at your district.

Join us and be the hero of your department by ensuring all projects are on time, on budget, and within scope. After completing the two-day workshop, you will be able to:

  • Define a project
  • Develop a project charter
  • Explore the project process groups
  • Practice using tools and techniques within the project process groups
  • Identify the knowledge and skills required to be effective project managers
